Before every ride
Check tyre pressure, front and rear brakes, handlebar position and whether all folding or adjustable parts are securely locked. Use your lights whenever visibility or road conditions are poor.
PRACTICAL GUIDE
A few simple habits can extend the life of your components and make every ride safer. Always follow the instructions supplied with your specific model.
Check tyre pressure, front and rear brakes, handlebar position and whether all folding or adjustable parts are securely locked. Use your lights whenever visibility or road conditions are poor.
Charge the battery with the correct charger in a dry, ventilated area. Never cover the charger while it is operating. Protect the battery from impacts, extreme heat and long periods of storage while fully discharged.
Clean the e-bike with a lightly damp cloth and a mild product. Do not direct pressurised water at the motor, battery, display, controller or electrical connections.
Become familiar with the assistance levels gradually. On wet, slippery or loose surfaces, reduce your speed, leave more space and brake earlier. Wear a helmet and follow traffic regulations.
Keep the bike in a dry, secure place. Fasten it correctly during transport and follow the manufacturer’s battery recommendations. Never lift the bicycle by its cables or display.
Chains, brakes, tyres and fasteners wear with use. If you hear an unusual sound or notice reduced braking, looseness or a system error, arrange an inspection before your next longer ride.
Please note: Range depends on the model, assistance level, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure, load and riding style. See the relevant product page for model-specific information.
